CLASS II WASTE WATER TREATMENT OPERATOR Type of Position: Full Time Work Location: Waste Water Treatment Plant Patterson Creek, WV The Frankfort Public Service District is seeking a Class II Waste Water Operator who will be responsible for operations and maintenance of the Waste Water Treatment Plant. An applicant with a Class I certification willing to advance, would be considered. FUNCTIONS: Duties will include but not limited to hands on operation maintenance of wastewater treatment system and compliance with State and Federal Regulations. Daily testing of parameters, collecting samples for lab, prepare and maintaining reports, plant performance monitoring, chemical handling, housekeeping and general operations. Duties will also include from time to time assists lead operator with emergency procedures in the event of overflow or spill of chemicals. QUALIFICATIONS: • Certification Class I or II License • Initiative, Teamwork and Communication Skills • Valid Driver’s License SALARY RANGE & BENEFITS: The FPSD offers a competitive salary, attractive benefit package and a positive work environment.
